Trying to figure a way in EE2 that I can list out a sample or full version music file from within a custom field. Is it best to use Matrix to accomplish this?

One way:
Create a custom “File” field for uploading/picking the audio file
Add a music player to your template to play the file, http://wpaudioplayer.com/standalone works well

Thanks for the info:) I went a head and used dewplayer, seems to work nice and we did purchase Matrix which helped out.
