Hi all, I am running multiple sites under ee 1.67 and as of friday all of the sites stopped parsing the template code.

Now, I see the {embed="xxx"} tags on my webpage as well as the fact that any php code in causing the template parsing to end as soon as the <?php line of code shows up.

The host installed some binaries for php5 suhosin ( a patch - early last week) and the site was working fine until friday.

Has anyone got a similar experience or solution?
Why is the template code showing on pages now?

Did you cleared the cache ? Are the others EE tags broken too, or is it only embed and PHP ?

I cleared cache files, optimized all tables…
I am using includes on my pages which broke alot of things but have since replaced with ‘require’ with an absolute file path which has fixed everything except a page that includes some db functions….

Changing that will be a HUGE task among all files and templates…

any ideas? I read something that mentioned maybe a vhosts file or path to php might be needing adjustment on apache…

Embeds should definitely work, but you’d use {embed="group/template"}. Can you confirm that?

Whereas others do work fine? Are you running mod_security on your server? You might have to ask your host about it.

Well, are you talking about PHP include() function or embedded templates with PHP into it ?

Does the embed fail, or the PHP parsing ? Could you please paste an example of broken page ?

Good questions to ask, Studio Meta.

    Lemonman, can you elaborate?
