I would like portions of my site to require that the user log in again before they get access to them. For example, suppose he user is already logged in to the front end of the site, but wants to take a look at the super-confidential page. I would like to force them to re-enter their password or username and password, like some sites do.

Is there a plugin/module/extension that does this or would help with implementing something like this?

Are there any tips anyone can give for perhaps implementing this? I have done some add-on development in the past for EE, so there is basically no tips that you can give that are too technical.

    Thanks for any help.

I am not the end all of knowledge mind you. But were I to need that i would probably cause whatever link they clicked on to get to that page to log them out and then set the destination page to require them to be logged in. Wouldn’t the system then require them to log in again at that point?
