This question may be related to a resolved thread.
I understand that the 2.0 version of twitter_timeline will no longer work with EE 2.1. I am hosting at enginghosting so do not have the option of renaming, uninstalling…
Can you direct me to the exact URL where 2.1 v of twitter_timeline is avialable? This page (http://expressionengine.com/downloads/details/twitter_timeline/) has a 2.0 version from last May (whcih had been working)

I am seeing the same thing, and it too started with change to EE 2.1.0 (2.0 was fine.)
Here is the output error:
Twitter Timeline error: Unable to retreive statuses from Twitter.com

Downloaded Twitter_Timeline again (V1.3.1)—now works, but a question: Looking at the actual PHP file, the update notes inside it don’t mention anything about 2.1, and the date on the file is May 2010. Do I have the right file? Have I really fixed this?

2.1 wasn’t released until after May 2010. I suspect the plugin should still work for you.
