Error 1146 - New Install 2.1.0 - table doesn't exist??

    Does anyone know why this would happen on a new install? Databse created and tested.

    New Install 2.1.0
    PHP 5.2.13
    MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
    Apache version 2.2.15

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1146

    Table ‘shelby_cms.sites’ doesn’t exist

    UPDATE `sites` SET `site_system_preferences` = ‘YTo5MTp7czoxMDoic2l0ZV9pbmRleCI7czo5OiJp .....etc etc etc….’ WHERE `site_id` = 1

    So, I checked the datbase.

    Checking Database
    shelby_cms is now being checked.

    I CAN NOT ACCESS THE CONTROL PANEL!!!

    Also, I checked config.php and database.php and found both to be blank.

    After looking through some of the scripts, it appears that the table was never created by the install process.

    In your case it should be creating shelby_cms.exp_sites, though I don’t see why it’d leave off the prefix in this case. Are you able to complete a default install (that is, with the standard ‘exp_’ table prefix?

    You are absolutley correct. The ‘exp_’ table prefix works. During the install, I cleared the field which is what caused the problem.
