    Hello,

I am going slightly crazy at the moment as I have a curious problem with Status assignment for my SAEF.

I have checked all Status Groups for Weblogs and for Member Groups etc, and I have the SAEF entry_form parameter status=“open”, but still, all my member and Super Admin weblog entries are ‘closed’ !?? I have read through other related threads here and doubled my admin settings etc.

I am running EE 1.6.9 ... is there something I am missing ?

Thank you for any help here.

Just to make sure, you weblog does have assigned a status group to it? Does that happen to all user groups, including Superadmins? Does it also happen when you publish via the control panel instead of using the SAEF?

    Hi Ingmar,

Thank you for your reply here.

When I reviewed the status in my SAEF entry_form tag, it was set as: status=“not closed”.

I changed this to status=“open” and it works ???

It’s a curious thing why the status was setting as closed while the status=“not closed” ?

“not closed” is not a valid status. In the SAEF you need to specify exactly one existing, valid status. “not foo” is only valid within a template where you specify which status(es) to show (you can specify more than one, there, too). I hope that makes sense?
