I don’t know what else to call it but here is what I was wondering if it can be done and perhaps some guidance of how to get started.

On my website I will have a form that the visitor will fill out.  This form will consist of a number of fields such as Name, Place, Comments, and will also include the ability to upload no more than 12 pictures.

I am curious to know, when the visitor fills out the form and choose a number of files to upload with the form if it can some how be a comment or something of the sort that will be waiting to be approved by the website admin?  When the comment is approved it will automatically show is a specific layout on the page.

This again is a basic form with text boxes, textareas, and file upload and when submitted it sits as a comment or entry that is to be approved by website admin; once approved it will then post on the website.

    Thanks

You could use a SAEF (stand alone entry form) to handle the submission with a hidden field that sets the status to closed (or a custom status) - thats should work fine, the only issue is any smart user could change the status with firebug to ‘open’ before submitting.

Link to info on SAEf - page search for “status” for the code snippet

    Thanks for the info.

As for the SAEF, is there anyway to have it without the visitor being logged in?

The LogMeIn plug-in is what you need: http://www.putyourlightson.net/projects/logmein
