can't open login page from specific IP address

    I have not been able to open the login page to my CP from multiple computers running off the same server today (at my org’s office). I can from my mobile device and my home computer though. I have also been unable to login to my CP at my web hosting account today too (from the office.) Is it possible our IP address has been blocked? I have not had this problem before and have been developing the new EE site for a few weeks now.
    I have contacted our IT guy who maintains our office server to check that he hasn’t added any new firewalls or anything and he hasn’t.
    Any suggestions?

    If you can’t get to your host CP or the EE CP, I’d recommend contacting your ISP and/or host about what may be occurring.

    Thanks for your help.
    It turns out that our host blocked our IP address because we apparently had too many unsuccessful login attempts within 300 seconds!
    Not sure that was true, but they have unblocked it now and all is well again.
