    Hi,
Is there a way to use templates with the default error/notification screens (i.e. when you dont enter a username or password you get a splash error screen). My client doesnt like the way that they feel disjointed from the rest of the website and I dont fancy trying to maintain themes as I cant use any includes etc.

    I am using version 1.6.7.

    Thanks in advance
    Gary

You could make some design changes, but depending on what kind of error you’re trapping, you could introduce some sort of javascript checking.

    Hi Sue,
Thats a good idea… but is there definitely no chance of intergrating the errors with my templates?

    Thanks

No, the user message templates are separate from the regular ones. That said, check out Solspace’s “User” module, I think it actually allows for that. It’s not free, though.
