I have a video player on my site that plays videos. In the code:
{exp:weblog:entries weblog="{my_weblog}" orderby="date" search:video_url=".flv" sort="desc" limit="1" rdf="off" disable="trackbacks"}It calls .flv videos and that’s the format the videos have been in up until now. I worked out that if I change
search:video_url=".flv"to
search:video_url=".mp4"It will call the test video I put on the server and play that format of video as well (ok I know I’m a dense child its taken me all this time to work out the player will play other video formats!)
Is there a way where I can call both url file types? I only ask because I’m thinking of taking my iPad on my trip with me instead of the laptop. I can do most things with it including edit video and upload either to youtube or via an FTP app to my own site however I do not think the app saves in “.flv” since the iPad doesn’t support flash anyway.
I was trying to switch the player over to a html5 player with fall back to flash, but while I can get them to function with one video I can not get any of the ones that offer the ‘playlist’ function to work. I do not suppose anyone has had a play with this and managed to get it working with ee?
oh, and I’m using 1.6 ee not 2.
