As far as I can tell, they don’t seem to do anything. ID is always comment_form and no class gets added

Which version and build are you running? It should be in the cp footer.

OK- looks like this is 2.x, correct? I’m going to go ahead and ask you to enter it in the bug tracker- I checked, so far it looks like this is the first report on this one. We’ll update there as soon as a fix is in.
Also shifting over to the 2PB forums as we’re trying to keep things localized there for now.
