hi EE, this is my first EE (1.6.8) site build using MAMP, should i buy the licence for the client and use it in my local installation while i build and then switch the licence to their finished site or just use the free core version for my development?

    thanks,

If the free license is sufficient for your development needs you’re welcome to use that (it does miss a few modules, though, notably the “Member” module). Otherwise I would suggest that you or your client buy a license now; you can always transfer it when finished.
