I’m trying to use the Logout link

    <a href="http://{path=logout}">Log Out</a>

referenced here... works like a charm on my local install of EE 1.6.9 but for some reason, it doesn’t work on my life site (hosted by webfaction).

Any ideas or pointer are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Are you on the latest build as well? How is your live site different from the local one? Are you using any extensions? Finally, do you’ve got a link?

    I’m using Build: 20100430.
As far as I know, the two installations should be identical… (I’ll check through all the plugins again).

Are you removing index.php from your URL? Because this link

    <a href="http://member.imaginationplayground.org/index.php?ACT=10">http://member.imaginationplayground.org/index.php?ACT=10</a>

    works as intended.

    Hm. I am.
Alright, must be something with my .htaccess then.

Because this is running on a subdirectory (member) I copied the .htaccess file from the main directory over… I probably need to edit something in there then…?!

I’m using the LG .htaccess generator to build the file.

Thanks for helping me out, btw!

In the subdomain directory, insted of using the LG plugin, I used the “File and Directory Check” Method. All seems fine now. Thank you very much!
