We don’t do comparisons with other software, as a rule. Not only do we regularly lack the in-depth knowledge of the other system or systems, it’s also impossible to define “better” in any commonly accepted and sensible way. Whether EE is “better” suited to the task at hand is a decision that nobody but you can make. Have you tried out EE yet?
Yes, you can easily allow other people to post to your weblog, EE comes with extensive user management facilities.
