As long as the designer/developer creates the site in a way that makes it easy for the end-users to do so, then absolutely. That is what most of our designers do - build the site and then do the hand-off for content maintenance.

My client needs the ability to have his front office person maintain text and news on the site. No design or anything; I have a designer doing that.
I thought this was the case but as the client raved about the look using EE he reiterated that need.
Do you have any tutorials or other documentation that shows you how to setup the site in such a way that that kind of maintenance is easy?
