This question may be related to a resolved thread.
I installed a fresh copy of 1.6.9 and I can’t enable extensions. When I do, blank pages appear and I can’t do anything until I edit config.php to not allow extensions.
I’m running PHP 5.2.6 and I’m really not sure what the problem is. Everything else is working fine.

taeradio, do you have any extensions in the extensions folder?

I did have extensions in the folder. I removed them, enabled extensions, then uploaded them again and it worked perfectly.
