If SQL caching is deactivated under Database Settings are any files supposed to show up in system/cache/sql_cache?

I have an installation (ExpressionEngine 1.6.8 Build 20090723) where it’s turned off and minutes after deleting the folder it is filled up again with 1200+ cached weblog-queries.

I know, it ain’t the latest build but I didn’t see any mentions in that regard in the changelog.

    Hi Oliver,

Do you have ‘Cache Dynamic Weblog Queries?’ on at Admin > Weblog Administration > Global Weblog Preferences?

    Cheers
