I have a client whom I am suggesting EE as their CMS platform however I need to list what they actually get for purchasing a licence?

I’ve had a look over the website but can’t seem to find anywhere where it lists the ‘benefits’ or ‘what you get’ for purchasing a licence. Do they get full tech support and so on and so on?

Can anyone point me in the right direction/web page or send through a list?

    Thanks,

Above all, you get the right to use a copy of ExpressionEngine on your site. In addition, yes, we provide forum based Tech Support for our product as well.

I understand that Ingmar - I’m just trying to find adequate ammunition to convince my client to fork out the money to purchase the licence in comparison to using a free CMS like Drupal or Wordpress.

Normally when you purchase something, the company selling the product gives a list of “if you buy our product, you get ...”

Hopefully telling the client if they decide to run with EE that they’ll get full tech support as well as a secure platform will be enough to convince them.

Unless you can add anything to this list?

We normally don’t do comparisons with other software, but our users have discussed this a number of times. A quick search on the forums should bring up something.

Hey Ingmar thanks for your quick response.

I’m not after a comparison - I’ve already done all that research. As I said in my earlier post - I just want to know what I can tell my client what they get for purchasing a licence with EE.

I received a reply from Mike Boyink’s site and I think he’s pretty much summed it up:

Paid tech support, excellent security track record and great community.
