there is an option labeled “Enable Smart Notification” under Control Panel -> Email Settings section of a user’s profile. Where can i find details about this option?

It’s rather straight forward, really: it means that EE will only send you a single email if there are new postings in a thread until you re-visit that thread, and not a separate notification for every posting. Makes sense?
