I’m doing something a little different, so I’ll try to explain. I’ve set up FF Matrix to allow my client to select which banners appear on each individual page. The problem is that unless I use the entry_id parameter, all of the banners selected from the chosen weblog display on every page.
Here are a few other important bits of information. I’m using Structure, and my templates largely consist of embeds. I’m trying to get EE to dynamically determine the entry_id (current page) AND parent entry id (essentially segment_1) so that if I’m in a blog entry, it will still display the correct banners.
