Hello,
Hope somebody can help to get this going - A client of mine likes to do the following: charging subscribers for a e.g. daily newsletter (sent by email) after a trail period of maybe 30 days if they don’t cancel the subscription. Does anybody have an idea how this could be achieved with as little programming as possible? Does anybody know what payment gateways could be used in Europe, Germany, Switzerland but also the U.S.

besides the above function, I also like to use EE as a CMS for a rather static company website.

I know the new new 2.0 release supports Paypal subscriptions and recurring payments. You can also alter a member’s group assignment based on their subscription status (e.g. from trial member to member), so that’s all good. Not sure how you would automate the upgrade process after the 30-day trial. You’re halfway there though, and I’m sure some bright spark on here will know how to do the rest. Hope that helps.
