Hey, gang. I’ve been pushing EE hard at my mother company, and have been asked to compare EE with EZ Publish. Anyone out there who has worked with both and has an opinion? Snarking is fine. Thanks!

I downloaded it awhile ago and tried it off and on for a few days. It’s nicely organized and runs on a variety of DBs, including PostgreSQL and Oracle. But requires Java JRE for the search module. Contains lots of bells and whistles not found in EE out of the box (tags, forums, polls, mobile), and uses a nice WYSIWYG editor. It’s mostly point and click, though, but I didn’t spend much time looking under the hood.

The basic version is free, but there are other licenses for a price. There must be a few dozen such CMS apps on the market.
