    Hi,
    I am brand new to expression engine and am trying to get use to this.

    My question is

    {exp:weblog:entries weblog="{my_weblog}" orderby="date"}
    < h2 >< a href="">{title}</ a ></ h2 >
    {/exp:weblog:entries}

    what do I put as a link to the post so I can have the page load for just that post with more detail? and to what page is this redirected?
    I overwrote my site/index template that comes with a default installation so I couldn’t use this as reference.
    If someone could paste it for me it would be really useful
    Thanks alot

    I’d suggest a look at the following two tutorials:

    Implementing a weblog index template
    Implementing a weblog comments template.
