Custom Profile Data rendering email as Javascript... can I stop it from doing that?

    Hi all

    I have a template that looks like this:

    {exp:member:custom_profile_data}
        {exp:dashboard account="{acc_account}" password="{acc_password}" email="{acc_email}"}
    {/exp:member:custom_profile_data}

    The problem I am having is the field “acc_email” is converting to Javascript encoded email addresses. Is there a way I can force the custom profile data to not render those as javascript?

    Thanks!

    I think you’ll have to turn off “Auto-convert URLs and email addresses into links?”. Can you try that?

    Are you meaning in Weblog Preferences? If so then yes I have tried. This is specific to a template though, not tied to any weblogs.

    Is there somewhere else I can change that?

    Ah, I didn’t notice this was in {exp:member:custom_profile_data}. I am afraid you won’t be able to turn it off there at all. Derek shows you how to hack it here.

    Thanks Ingmar

    I tried DA’s hack but it doesn’t seem to work anymore, now that I know what I am looking for I will try and track it down.

    Thanks again

    When you say…

    Is it giving you a blank page? What isn’t working? Thanks!
