I’m having a hard time solving this problem. It feels so simple but I just don’t get it. The problem is that I need a weblog “infobox” and then my client could insert some text and select where this box or boxes will be placed. How do I give my client a list of every single possible page? Playa can’t do it obviously because it just lists all the weblog entries. Should I just ask for an URL and then put this little infobox in every template and read the URL if it matches. Have any of you done anything like this?

    thanks

I don’t know if this would suit your needs but maybe you could establish a relationship between a weblog containing an entry with the text from you infobox, then from just about any other weblog entry your client could just associate it with the infobox entry, therefore displaying it on that particular page?

Thanks for quick reply! The problem in this case is a list of all products -page and some other pages that lists a lot of stuff from many weblogs. If I understand you correctly your suggestion would be perfect for a page that shows only one entry from one weblog + infobox for this particular entry.

    I misunderstood your needs.
I thought you only needed one infobox that you could display at will.
My proposition could work on a relation of many weblogs to 1 infobox (or a few).

Sorry it’s hard to explain and in english even harder 😛 But yeah, I need to find a way where you could just add a box or several boxes with text In every single page you ever wanted one here and another there. My current template/weblog structure is giving me hard times to do this.
