How to change my DB password

    For security reasons I need to change the database username and password on an existing installation. As far as I can tell this information is only taken up when you initially install EE I can’t see that there’s anywhere where I can change this inside of EE if I need to, unless I manually change the config.php file.

    I just need to know if the website’s gonna blow up on me if I change the UID and PWORD manually in config.php or if there’s a more efficient way about doing this.

    That’s exactly what you need to do; after changing it on the MySQL side of things, of course.
