    My links are messed up…..
    for instance the login form displays an action of
    action=“http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/index.php”

    and all the {path=states}NV
    come out http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/index.php/states/NV/

    System Config Value:
    URL to the root directory of my site =
    http://www.fairsandfestivals.net

    Any ideas what this may be?  Please help this is a fairly high traffic site and I’m in panic mode!!!

    Thank you very much

    Odd, do yo have anything in path.php?
    OR
    check your weblog preferences under:
    CP Home ›  Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Weblog Management ›  Edit Weblog Preferences
    [Path Settings]

    $system_path = "./system/";

    // ------------------------------------------------------
    // MANUALLY CONFIGURABLE VARIABLES
    // See user guide for more information
    // ------------------------------------------------------

    $template_group = "";
    $template = "";
    $site_url = "";
    $site_index = "";
    $site_404 = "";
    $global_vars = array(); // This array must be associative

    That is this contents of path.php.

    These links are not inside a specific weblog, so I dont think that the weblog path settings are relevant, but i will check those also.

    The weblog paths are all normal looking, such as
    http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/articles/view/

    does anybody have any idea why my {path=}  would evaluate to :

    http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/http://www.fairsandfestivals.net/index.php

    I think I’ve seen this before and here is my theory of what may be happening to you…

    In the preferences for that particular weblog look in the section called “weblog posting preferences”.  You should see an option labeled “Automatically turn URLs and email addresses into links?”.  If it is set to “yes” then try setting it to “no” and see if things behave better.

    Good Luck!

    Joe,
      Thanks for the tip, but this is not inside an exp:weblog:entries tag.  (well some of the {path=} tags are, but the ones outside an entries tag are doing it also.

    It should only be “index.php”. Remove the leading http:// etc.
