Whenever I am in Communicate module and setting up an email to send out, any email address that I type gets “JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address” error message. I’ve tried using ‘mail’ command, and also the href command, but still get “JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address’ message.

What is causing this problem? Am relatively newbie so don’t consider me proficient when responding.

You can disable this by going to: (make sure you are editing the preferences for the weblog that the email address is being called from)
Admin ›  Weblog Administration ›  Weblog Management ›  Edit Weblog Preferences

And click on “Weblog Posting Preferences”

Then set “Automatically turn URLs and email addresses into links?” to NO

This will prevent the email addresses from being converted, and displayed using javascript.

    Make sense?
