Hey,

I’m lazier than anyone that you’ve ever met, that being said, I enjoy working.

So my usual way of learning a new language/templating system is: learn the cheat sheet and proceed to the trial and error stage.

I just came to EE and after browsing the forums I realised that it would probably be best to jump straight into 2.0 and to skip 1.6.8 all together. So that’s what I did.

The only problem I currently have with it is not knowing the template tags. (Which is annoying as I know WordPress better than I know the <amount> of fingers on my right hand).

Is there anyone who would like to create a cheat sheet for EE 2.0 (due to the 1.6.8 one being slightly outdated)?

Just letting the idea out there…

The 1.6.8 one could probably be updated… Might be a fun little Christmas project, I think I have the original .ai file somewhere. Don’t remember who did it originally (Derek, probably).

You might also want to install locally and use the Agile theme which will have example templates. 😊
