I’d like to create a custom field group for meta information. Is it possible to apply a custom field group to multiple weblogs without the use of plugins/extensions? 😊

    No.

Well, yes, in that you can apply one field group to multiple weblogs.  But one weblog can only have one field group assigned to it.

Nora, you could use Fresh Variables with EE1.x and Snippets with EE2.x.

NOTE: This answer is just to get you thinking about other ways to handle meta data. It’s not meant to be a full solution.

There is also an addon from Leevi Graham that might help.

Thanks for the reply. Guess my question was wrong, I was hoping I could apply multiple custom field groups to weblogs. 😊

Thanks Sue, I tried that and it works great. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t missing any custom fields features that could make it a little easier. 😊
