    Hey, not to rain on the 2.0 parade today, but I think I found a bug in the new build for 1.6.8.

    I’ve been getting weird search errors in both regular templates and the discussion forum after I installed the latest build.

    On the regular templates I got no results showing, despite having the system list 2 Search Results found. No changes made in the template between builds.

    One the discussion forum template I would get results but it would give me a notice that says:

    Notice: Use of undefined constant xIhcfcd2xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da8495d5xIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dc5efxIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dcxIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dce7dff9f987xIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dc4da - assumed ‘xIhcfcd2xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da8495d5xIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dc5efxIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dcxIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a in {my directory is here}/core/core.functions.php(634) : eval()‘d code on line 1

    Notice: Use of undefined constant xIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dc - assumed ‘xIh1679xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da91c5a88xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764dafaf6fb5e6xIhcfcd208495d565ef66e7dff9f98764da87eb1b2dc’ in {my directory is here}/core/core.functions.php(634) : eval()‘d code on line 3

    along with that error (only seen my myself, as an admin) it also gives me the search results but ocassionally gives me

    * {snippet}… by {author}

    instead of an actual snippet and author. These can be seen by people who are not Admins.

    Thinking this might be a problem with core.function.php, I rolled back to the previous build version of core.function.php and - bam! - both work as they did before. So I think there’s a problem in that file in the new build.

    If I can help diagnose more, please let me know.

    Hi Todd-
    This does seem odd. It may be a possible conflict with an extension and the new build. If you globally disable extensions, do you still get the same errors?

    If not, can you report your findings to the Bug Tracker?

    Thanks,
    Adam

    Just did it and got the same result.

    I had a feeling it wasn’t an extension issue because it was effecting the Forum module, which doesn’t talk to any extension I have right now.

    I’ll add to the Bug tracker
