Is it possible to set events for multiple states and multiple locations within those states?
So that the publish form would have repeating custom field sets such as:

    STATE:—-
    COST:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
(add more+ (ok wishful thinking here but one can’t help to wander))

    STATE:—-
    COST:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
    CITY:—- VENUE:—- DATE:—-
    (add more+)

You should check out the FieldFrame add-on from Brandon Kelly. It comes with a fieldtype called FF Matrix that will do what you’re looking for. Take some time and look through the FF Matrix docs. It’s a fantastic Add-on. So fantastic that EllisLab is adding it in to EE2.x’s core.
