    Hi again 😊

I’m looking for some help in setting up a feature on my site. I’m trying to allow an author to display a unique ad for any post, with a default (‘globally’ configurable) ad shown if no specific ad is chosen. The “ad” (db entry) should hold other information (possibly a title, url, size), so it can’t be a simple file upload field. Preferably, the “backgrounds” could also be easily created somewhere else on the site. It would be nice if the author could choose the ad from a list of positions/sizes directly from the publish form.

I’m new to EE so this may not be the best way to approach this. I’m fairly certain I can get most of the code working and am not looking for a code example. It would be far more helpful if you could share how you would attempt to go about this, any extensions/modules that may help, any articles you may know of that would relate to this topic, even any keywords I could search.

I’ve put together a small flow of what I want, maybe it’s helpful.

    Thanks
