Thought I would share a writeup I did on an AJAX version of the EE Calendar, using the calendar tag and Mootools v.1.2.3.

I’ve written a few small functions that will cycle the calendar prvious/next without reloading the page and loading the calendar by the entry’s month when viewing an entry by date.

Curious to know if this writeup is easy enough to follow, and if anyone is able to actually implement it on their own site, or if it’s complete jibberish and makes no sense.

I think a lot of the community here is using jQuery, myself included.

Weird…I guess I was, I must have been looking under the hood of your site back while back when you announced it 😊
    Sorry, false alarm….move along.
But yeah jQuery is more of favorite…especially since newer version of EE come with it.
Cool effect to make calender more dynamic!
