Anyone messed around with getting PubSubHubbub to work in EE?

I’m thinking specifically the publishing end of it not the the hub end where you take input form other publishers.

I’m really interested in this functionality as well. It’s currently supported by many hosted blogging services, Feedburner, and there’s a plugin for Wordpress.

It turns your rss feed into a real-time feed.  I’m currently posting my news stories to twitter via twitterfeed, but it’s on a 30 minute delay.

I really want pubsubhubbub support from EE.

    Hey Barry,

I’ll probably end up creating client extension of some kind for my company as we would really like it for Feedburner and Tweeterfeed.

I’d be happy to pass it along to you if you like.  Keep in mind it won’t be public consumption ready.  So you’ll need some basic PHP understanding to get it to work.

Thanks for the offer, I’d appreciate it. I’ve been doing some experimenting with real-time feeds in news applications and I’m excited about their potential.

    Guys,
I know this is a really old thread, but did anything ever come of this? We are possibly interested in implementing ‘pubsubhubbub’ support on our site and I didn’t want to go about re-inventing the wheel unless I have to.

I wound up using Superfeedr to implement Pubsubhubbub and it worked well for me.
