Ok we all know that google wave is out and everyone is willing to sell their right arm to get one… so im suggesting that if someone has just one invite to spare we can get the whole CI community on board to try this out and even create a codeigniter wave!

this is how it would work. that one person sends an invite to me. i will use all but one invite to send out to others in the ci community. (the other has to go to my boss :]). when those others receive those invites they have to commit to send out at least half of the invites to others who respond to this thread. its strictly an honor system but i think that the ci community is up to the task if someone can be generous enough to donate just one invite…

    thoughts?

after you are invited you get 8 invites to spread to your friends (i assume so you have someone to talk to on your wave(s)).

cmon, someone on the ci forums had to get a wave invite. please if you did spread the fun to the community 😊

I’d also like to get an invite. If you have it, please send to danijelb93 {at} gmail {dot} com.

But, there’s one problem, I think. I heard that this invites are not pyramidal. The first 100 000 users currently can nominate people, but when those new people get the invitations, they can’t send invitations.

I’m not sure if Wave is still active for invites now, I read somewhere that the first session of waves is now done till they open up the system more…. although saying that I wouldn’t mind trying still 😉

It says that I had 8 invites originally, when I send one out now it says that I have nominated the person and that the invite will not be sent out right away so I don’t know how long it takes.
