    Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can’t find an exact answer and really want to make sure I stay on the right side of the license fence. Can someone give me a definitive answer on whether this project qualifies for a core license?

I’ve developing a site for a small charity (hence non-profit), however part of what the charity does, and what this site is specifically for, is to sell Choreography teaching DVD’s to help dance teachers train kids to dance.

The site doesn’t use the e-commerce mod - it’s just a brochure/showcase site - but I can see that it could still be construed as commercial activity.

Their budget is stupidly small (as they’re a very small charity) and I’m all but doing the site pro bono, so not having the license cost would really help. It would of course display the “powered by expression engine” badge/link as required by the license.

Any chance some one could let me know?

    cheers for you time

Hi, meta - if the site is a non-profit then they are welcome to use EECore.

Please post back if you have any other questions.
