HI I am looking for way to track my members and there IPs. Then have an email sent to the administrator when members log in from certain IPs. Is there a way to do this or can anyone start me off in the right modules so I can write the code? I am using expression engine 1.3.

    Thanks

    Luis

I am afraid you’d have to come up with a custom solution for that, probably using some PHP. That said, are you
really EE 1.3? That’s over 4 years old. You should definitely upgrade to a more recent version first.

yes, that is what I figured; I had to create something in php. But it was worth asking first.  What I need to find out next is what files are affected during the log in process. As far as EE 1.3 yes I am running that and has been running great. We purchased a license, It has met all our needs and after the 1 year period saw no reason to upgrade… why fix it when it aint broke…

    Thanks

Because running software that is 4 years old, unpatched, is a significant security risk. Because there were way too many bugfixes and improvements since then. Because nobody else on this forum, I’d think, is running it anymore, and consequently it would be impossible to offer you much in terms of support.
