Hello. Our institute is putting out a printer flyer where we need to have a relatively short URL that people can go to to find some key information. Our actual web site is:

    http://globalhealth.duke.edu

Basically what I need to do is provide to my coworker a very short URL for her flyer. Something like:

http://globalhealth.duke.edu/links  (not a working link BTW)

that will redirect automatically to the actual page within our EE hierarchy that has the info on it, which would a page under our education area. Such a page would have a longer URL length such as this one (just an example):

    http://globalhealth.duke.edu/education-fieldwork/international-education

I read about working with the .htaccess file to do this. Is this the easiest way if just doing a single page redirect or is there a way that EE can handle this one case?

    Thanks for any help!

pugnax, the easiest way to do this is to use the Pages module.

    EEDocs:// Pages Module

I use this all the time, and you don’t need to fiddle with an .htaccess file.

    Does that help?

Thank you, Sue! I will do a crash course to learn the Pages Module enough to make this functionality a reality.

    Thanks!
