I just migrated a trivial EE site. After login and logout (front-end, not admin) I’m returned to the old url.
Have I missed a setting somewhere?

Have you tweaked all of your settings in the control panel? or are you able to get in at all? Also, manually clear your cache by deleting everything in the /system/cache/ folder.

Yea, I can login to the admin. Everything works except the user login/logout from the site.
Cache cleared..still weird.

Perhaps, is there a hard coded return link for the member login tag in your templates?
