I’m moving between webhosts and have transplanted my db and files to a new server. Now when I hit submit or update an entry in the CP, I get a blank page. (The entry does get posted though.)

I’ve looked around for similar problems and these are almost exclusive to memory issues. Earlier today I got some “fatal errors’ and had my host upgrade my memory limit to 64M, which got rid of the error but replaced it with a blank page.

Then I read a comment advising to disable extensions alltogether. Doing this eliminates my blank screen issue but of course I need to use some extensions and when I re-enable them the problem returns.

I’ve tried disabling my 3 extensions (fieldframe, accessible captcha & jquery for the cp) one by one but that did nothing.

    Who can help?

    I’m on EE 1.6.7 b20090515.

So, just to recap: Your site works with 64MB if you disable all extensions, but breaks when you re-enable them? Have you turned on error reporting?

No, it only works when extensions are disabled.

I applied the settings from the wiki entry but there’s still no sight of any errors.

    bobh,

Ask your host if they have disabled the PHP ‘display_errors’ directive and to to enable it if they have, or if the server allows scripts to override the setting.

I ended up wiping the whole database and doing a clean install. Problem’s gone now.
