I’ve made a start on customising a forum theme to fit with the design of my site. Unfortunately this is easier said than done. The underlying html code is a complete mess of horrid tables nested one after another. Whilst some use of tables if without a doubt warranted this code is giving me a headache.

Is there a clean forum theme with reasonably structured html that I can use as a starting point?

I’ve never used it as I haven’t purchased a copy of the Forum module yet but there is a post here by Derek which contains a minimal design for the forums. Might help out a bit hopefully.
