    hi,

i’m trying to make a trivial change to one of the default profile templates i.e. Member Profile Menu on my EE site [site-1] - trying to insert a pdf link below the profile menu.  i’m doing this on my devbox where i’m working on another EE site, we’ll call this [site-2].

everything is fine on both of these sites wherein i can add/remove/update templates from [site-1] without affecting [site-2]. the issue that i’m experiencing is that i couldn’t update the member profile template WITHOUT affecting the other site! which means, anything i do to a member profile template in [site-1] will replicate to [site-2]‘s member profile template! as if they’re just pointing to one db.

note: the sites are mutually exclusive

    ‘appreciate any hints

    Ray,

Are you using the Multiple Site Manager?

If not are you indeed only using one database, check the system/config.php file for your database details?
