Most developers here will most likely use firefox for their daily development. Add-ons like firebug, firephp, web-developer and <insert personal favorite extension here> are vital tools for most of us. The drawback is that firefox can become quite slow and bloated with all the extra’s. Here is a little tip that works quite well: put your cache in your memory.

After that restart your webbrowser. Open a page you usually don’t visit. After it loads completely, close the tab, and open the same page again. If everything is setup correctly, your page should almost appear instantly.
The example works for my particular setup (Ubuntu 9.04) quite well, but it shouldn’t be hard to find working solutions for other distro’s or platforms.
