    Hi,

I need some easy to use and simple to implement entry gallery. After 2 days of digging this forum and googling I know that there are some solutions, but:
1 Easy Gallery - don’t know why, but still can’t get it to work with my instalation of ee (1.6.7), looks like a problem with hosting (they got some uniq solutions, not regular apache :(
2 Entry Gallery - I used to use it, was just perfect for my needs, but after 6 months I was out of EE I just found it’s not existing any more. I still got it in my downloads, but it looks like it dosen’t work with 1.6.7 any more (but on my other site did with 1.6.6 it still works fine)
3 EE Photo Gallery - but I want to add photos when I’m adding an entry, directlu from the new entry in publish

    So, what else? any ideas?
Or maybe there is a way to use #2 with 1.6.7? that would be the best (because I already know, how to implement it and it fits me just perfect).
I need to find a solution till tomorrow! or I’m finished 😉

Solspace- Gallery extended is likely what you wnt. It adds a tab to the entry where you can upload images. It works with the gallery settings, so it automatically resizes on upload.

To be more cleare, here is what I would like to have:
    - put about 10-15 photos to each entry (at the time of adding the entry)
    - autoresize each one to 3 different sizes (small, medium, large) with option to set the exactly width for each size
    - add some caption to each one
    - select one to be “the first” one (that I could select with one will be display at home page)
    and that’s it.

Please, help me to set it up.

BTW. For the Entry Gallery (v 1.4), I’ve just checked it at my localhost MAMP and works fine with 1.6.7. Problem is at hosting serwer .. I’m getting errors (with Process form data in Secure Mode? at No):

Notice: Undefined index: settings in /system_sp/modules/entry_gallery/mcp.entry_gallery.php on line 494
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /system_sp/modules/entry_gallery/mcp.entry_gallery.php on line 494
Notice: Undefined index: settings in /system_sp/modules/entry_gallery/mcp.entry_gallery.php on line 517

Just did some $_POST printout there and it looks like the table is not passing (at local host it is). Any idea why? I got stuck :(

I’ve just found that if the extension jQuery for the Control Panel (v.1.1.1) is disabled the Entry Module works.
But I need this extension for some other stuff (like FieldFrame), so it’s a problem with js that coming with Entry Gallery and I need to resolve it.

I’m not a JS master 😉, so can anyone help me with that? What can be wrong? maybe someone had the smae problem with some other module?

I would use the FF_matrix extension in conjunction with the ngen_file_field to set up your entry gallery -it’s dead easy and will function essentially like Entry Gallery used to.

And how to do auto resize (small, medium, large) of the uploaded photos?
