I’m working with a well known market research company on a project examining the tools and development environments used by open source developers, particularly those who use PHP. I’m finding it surprisingly hard to get participation for this research—even though you get some cool stuff if you help out. I’d really appreciate it if you can contribute your opinions (which are mainly about what you use for programming in a given framework, and the reasons you chose those tools).
If you are:
* Programming professionally with open source tools, for revenue-producing work (that is, not inside-the-company-only apps)
* Using one of these regularly: Drupal, phpBB, SugarCRM, WordPress, Joomla
* In the U.S. or Canada
* Willing to answer some questions by phone (about 40 minutes worth)

Your information is, of course, kept entirely confidential. Participants will be sent a summary of the results in early summer; those who do a phone interview will get a $25 gift certificate from Amazon.
