For some reason I’m frequently getting emails bouncing to my email account, but I’m not sure where they are coming from. Here’s the header:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of
its recipients. The following addresses failed:

The problem is that I don’t have anything set up that requires an activation code. I’m also not running 1.6.4 but rather 1.6.1 (which has long since expired, of course, or I’d upgrade).

What could be generating these emails?

Do you have any other EE installs?

Not on that server, and not using that email address. Most of the sites I’ve set up don’t tend to use the member registration systems at all - I use EE as CMS only for the most part.

I’m suspecting some sort of phishing, I get a few of those myself from time to time.. I’m going to check with the Dev team to see if that might be the issue. Thanks in advance for your patience.
