    Hello.

I’m trying to setup moblog on my site.

I enabled the module and did the setup based on the instruction in the KB.

However when I go to the moblog control panel and click on the Check Moblog link, I get a Unable to connect to email server message.

I’ve verified that I can reach the email server on port 110 from my server via command line, and am running snoop on the correct interface to catch outbound traffic (verified during command line test)... But I don’t see EE trying to establish the tcp connection when I click the Check Moblog link.

Any ideas as to what my problem might be?

    Thanks,

    stevem

Which version/build of ExpressionEngine are you using? You can find that out at the bottom of any control panel page.

The current version is 1.6.7 and the build is 20090320.

If you attempt to send an email via the Communicate tab to the email address you’re specifying in the moblog settings, does it work?
