I recently hosted my site travellasso.com, we bought a dedicated server
on Iweb with Plesk configuration and I found it is slow to access from Singapore even in Thailand. And it’s frustrating for the Plesk Cpanel. Any recommendation for web hosting beside godaddy.com?

Or any suggestion if any good hosting company in Singapore?

It’s kind of weird for the ‘slider’ to resize and move the markup below it.

    2cents.

I have recently started using Mosso cloud servers. You get full control and they are quick as hell. You pay for only what you use and you can resize your packages at any point.

You will need to install your own control panel but I got a LAMP stack up and running with webmin/virtualmin in about 20 minutes. Will be posting a screencast on how to do that tonight hopefully.

You’re in the UK aren’t you Phil? What is your opinion on using hosting outside of the country you’re in?

I beleive that google amends search results according to the location of where the site is hosted even if it has a different TLD. So if i was in the UK searching for apples and you had 2 sites both with the same search relevancy (and both were .co.uk) but one was hosted in the US and one the UK, the UK based one would be higher ranked.

Also i find any servers in the U.S to be noticably slower compared to ones in Germany or the UK.]

Mosso is in the US aren’t they?

Thats fine by me. 64% of all my traffic comes from America and 25% from Australia. If nobody in the UK wants to look at my content then I wont bother about making it speedy over here. :-p

I have never noticed a real issue between the two anyway. Used to have servers in Holland and that was the best of the two.

Nah I was just going for cheap. Anyway, for a good UK host go with bodhost.co.uk. They are incredibly cheap and have knowledgeable staff who use emoticons during online support chats and say lol when you phone them for support at 2 in the morning half drunk. :red:

I will try to correct it. Actually the slider plugin has the slider inside the content I move it to above because I want the picture frame fully can expanded.

For mosso.com it kinda slow to access from my country.

    I will try to google some… 😊

Have you looked into hostgator.com? We have found the service good and the price very reasonable.

    Spam ?

Take a look at his profile.

The post itself was actually on topic for once… but I was also suspicious, checked out his profile, and I think he likes online accounting school… I wonder if that site is hosted with hostgator? lol
