Emails not received

I send out emails to a relatively small subgroup of members (just 23 readers) and one person hasn’t been receiving them.  He’s checked his spam folder (not there) and his email address works fine in other places (such as my Yahoo mail).  Other people on the list are receiving them.  His member profile allows him to receive emails from administrators.

Plus, I have tried contacting him directly through the communication module, and that hasn’t worked either.  We’re going to re-register him to see if that helps, but are there any other ideas/experience with this sort of thing?

    Thanks.

It could very well be that your email is being stopped by his ISP / EMail Hosting Provider.  Are you setting the “reply-to” address in your email configuration?

Thanks, Greg.  Yes, it’s set to my own email address.

Is the address associated with the domain you are sending from?  Also, can you please visit this KB Entry and follow the troubleshooting steps laid out and report back.

It is associated with the domain I’m sending from.  That’s good, right?

    Thanks for the link.

Yes, that’s good.  Did you find anything after reviewing the KB Entry?

    Hey Greg,

That entry is very useful—should have found it before posting here. I followed all the steps, and the debugging says that the emails are sent successfully.  So I’m going to encourage the member to use a different email address, cause it looks like the problem is with his server.  Thanks again.

Glad Greg was able to point you in the right direction. I am going to close this one out for now. But if anything else should arise feel free to start a new thread.
